Yahoo held a grand opening yesterday for its new Lockport, NY data center, located about half an hour northeast of Buffalo. A few stats on the new 155,000 square foot facility:
-1 server per 3.2 square feet of total space
-$968,000 construction capex per square foot
-1 full-time worker per 1,240 square feet
-3.23 construction jobs per square foot
